Dr. Kristina M. Simone received her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She went on to complete a rotating internship at the Center for Animal Referral and Emergency Services (CARES) followed by a second internship in diagnostic imaging at the Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center (VSEC) in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She moved to Raleigh where she completed a three-year residency in Diagnostic Imaging at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She achieved board certification and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology. She is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), South Carolina Association of Veterinarians (SCAV), and Trident Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA).
In addition to the practice of veterinary medicine, Dr. Simone loves spending time with her husband and their two rescue dogs, Penne and Riggs. She enjoys cooking, baking, running, hiking, playing cello, and improving her photography skills.
